Im really not into little dogs- but he was a rescue and he's awesome.
Today- rock climbing! Im really excited, Ive never done it before, but Ive wanted to learn for so long! Actually the weather here totally sucks- so I guess we're climbing at an indoor gym- but Im still stoked about it. After that Im heading to the other gym for my kickboxing & bjj classes. The classes follow each other so I always feel obligated to stay for both- Even though the workouts intense I always feel really energized afterward. I wonder why that is?If I take the evening classes I know Ill probably have trouble falling asleep later too....
Thats another thing- I was talking to my sister last night and we were marvelling at people who say- 'Oh, Ive gotta be up early- so Im going to bed around 10:00' Im amazed by that- Im like, really? How could you possibly know that? I dont know what it is but my body just goes to sleep whenever it feels like it. I could do any number of things-
Reading before bed, drinking Valerian or kava kava, meditation- whatever and Ill still end up lying there for hours. I always feel alright no matter how much/ little sleep I get- Its just so boring! Every normal person I know is in bed by that time- so I cant randomly call people at like three am and ask them what theyre doing.
These are the same people who are baffled by my inability to fall asleep- theyre like- 'You just close your eyes and sleep' Seriously, I think thats a skill and Im amazed by you, I really am. But- dont get cocky.
Back to the workouts- So basically, gym, gym and some more gym time. A little redundant- but I have loads of time off before my next job- thursday i leave for NY and Im not in school yet- so until that time I live my life like a retiree.
